Vital Report - Hearts 1 Aberdeen 3
Aberdeen's Scottish Premiership season continued with another win at Tynecastle against Hearts on Sunday.
An eighth successive Premiership win was secured by Aberdeen thanks to a first half brace from Goodwillie, with McGinn scoring one between these. Hearts did get one back in the second half through Rossi but the Dons had done the first half damage to win three-one.

Having, as you would expect as the away side, initially started on the back foot Aberdeen then took control and took an early lead through Goodwillie (9) as he headed a McGinn freekick past Hearts 'keeper Alexander, who got a hand to it but couldn't keep it out.
McGinn (23) had Aberdeen two-nil up at the midway point of the first half. He won the ball on the edge of his own area, running away with it before again picking it up further up field, beating a poor attempt of a challenge from a Hearts defender before curling into the corner.
It was three for the Dons in first half injury-time, again McGinn was involved but it was the goalscorer Goodwillie (45) who got the move going. The Aberdeen striker won the ball of Buaben at the edge of his own penalty area collecting a pass from Northern Ireland winger McGinn to beat Alexander again.
Hearts got a goal back early in the second half, with a Jambos corner not cleared Rossi (52) fired home to get the home side back into the game.
This, as much as the game went end to end, proved nothing but a consolation with Hearts 'keeper Alexander making a couple of fine saves to deny Pawlett and McGinn as Aberdeen threatened more goals.
However, Paterson's 25-yards did have Liverpool loanee 'keeper Ward beaten but this slammed against the Dons' crossbar with Hearts denied a second.
